When the company that would become Econo West was founded in 1972, the company was just one man, a van, and about $5,000 in savings. But founder Dave Kerr had a dream, as well as the skills and determination to make it come true. As he built up the business, he always kept one priceless guiding principle in mind: “My mom taught me to treat people right and to treat others as you want to be treated,” said Kerr. After watching his mother live this advice in her own life, caring for over 400 children from 1972 to 1989, Kerr was inspired to follow her selfless example in his interactions with his clients. As a result, Econo West guarantees fair, affordable pricing and courteous service to this very day.

On the strength of our commitment to stellar workmanship and service, Econo West has grown to a company of over 20 employees, some of whom have been with the company for over 10 years. Kerr continues to place a strong emphasis on the company’s founding ideal of honest, personalized service that meets the unique needs of each customer.
